Our structures’ team leads the design and delivery of structural infrastructure including nearshore and offshore marine works, wharf construction and specialist concrete structures along with the strengthening and remediation of ageing assets such as reservoirs and bridges.  

We’re seeking an experienced Supervisor - Civil & Structures to join our Structures team, supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across Queensland. 

This role is responsible for leading site-based delivery across earthworks, building and structural works, drainage, pipelines and utilities. You will coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders, manage community and client interfaces, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard of quality, presentation and compliance.

We welcome applications from candidates with residential, remedial, commercial and/or civil industry experience.

What you'll be doing:

• Supervise civil and building construction activities including earthworks, structures, trenching, drainage, pipelines and utilities
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors, plant, labour and materials across multiple concurrent work fronts
• Drive productivity, sequencing and efficient resource utilisation on site
• Deliver works to high standards of quality, finish and presentation
• Manage construction activities within live and community-facing environments, minimising disruption to residents and stakeholders
• Monitor program, cost, safety and quality performance across allocated works
• Identify and resolve site issues, including ground conditions, services and constructability challenges
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and relevant construction standards
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, developers, residents and project teams
• Promote safe, clean and well-presented site environments at all times.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience supervising civil, building, structures or infrastructure projects
• Proved ability to manage multiple trades, crews and subcontractors in fast-paced environments
• Strong technical understanding of civil and/or building construction methodologies
• Confident, professional communicator in customer and stakeholder-facing environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with calm, decisive leadership
• Highly organised, proactive and delivery-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail, quality and presentation standards
